The fastest bike in the world.
Phase two of my bike re-sexification. The derailleurs, front brake, reflectors, and all other unnecessary bits have been removed and I finally got to put on my Wood handlebars from Ken Carroll. The stem is from what was my sisters bike when she was a very very small child, a bit of a frankenstein job. All I need to do now is get my wheel in the mail so I can lace up my Craigslist hub and put the 19t cog on there (right now I am running 14t in the back and I am simply not man enough to do so).
I can’t wait to get the saddle I am treating myself to on there.

great bars and saddle.
pardon my ignorance,
how (with whatand where is it) do you change gears ?
cheers !
Hey Virgil,
The bike is a single speed, so even though there are multiple cogs on the rear wheel, I am only using one of them. Since these pictures were taken I have upgraded to a specifically single speed hub, but just using the existing freewheel and cog arrangement works beautifully as well.
OMG wood bars, thats and excellent idea =D, Can it actually run front brakes? if it could i’d rather take off the back and put it on the front. Front braking means more braking power. If you want to shave more weight, go for those single speed conversion kits with spacers and such.
No expert, but something i should just let you know…shockingly nice ride man…good job.
