Oh, how I have neglected you, Mr. Blog! I have a lot of work that hasn’t been documented or is currently in progress, a new site planned for the beginning of the summer (tardy, I know), as well as some exciting news to announce: I will be apprenticing with Jim Croft, my far-and-away favorite practicing book artist, this summer in Idaho for a whole month! I expect to learn a bunch of new things and make some cool stuff, and I’ll be sure to share it with you all. I apologize for the lack of updates as of late, please stay tuned!

Now, in actually important news, I am proud to announce my participation in the Haiti Poster Project.

I have designed the above poster, which was screen printed by The Half and Half, and donated a signed edition of 50 to the project. They go on sale in two weeks, at $25 a piece, and all of the profits will go to Doctors Without Borders. This also marks the first time anything I have designed solo will be sold; exciting stuff!

Your Recession is My Renaissance

Had this bouncing around my head for some time and threw it together. I think it, or something similar would make a fine screen print. Thoughts?

Thievery Corporation Poster

Poster for Thievery Corporation at Rams Head Live this upcoming Friday. I decided, as I tend to, that even though I have no experience screen printing on my own and this is my first print in more than one color, that I would try and screen print an edition of these. The results were expensive and disappointing. I got a few prints where the distressed/grunge look is actually kind of cool, but on most of the 25 its just really sad and unfortunate.
