One of my refined symbols at 3" and 1"
You may remember that seemingly torturous exercise I posted photo evidence of a little while back? Well after two more weeks of development, this is where those 1,750 symbols have gotten me. I first narrowed all 1,750 down to my four strongest solutions, then from there chose one of the concepts to refine even further. This tree constructed of speech bubbles stems from the root words “growth” and “democracy”.

I feel as those the latter two solutions are more stereotypical in their shape and therefore a more obvious and less exciting response to the concept. However, I am using them to try on different colors.

Below I have posted my four original symbols I expanded upon. In order, from top-left to bottom-right: Growth > Democracy; Power > Useless; Death > Freedom; Swarm > Evolution.

I am still REALLY attached to the bent up AK-47 for useless power, I just didn’t feel like it had anywhere else to go with refinement, so I chose to work with the tree. I will find a use for that assault rifle though; mark my words.
