Pompadour Available as a Font (still free!)
Thanks to the wonderful Johno of I Love Typography, and the magic of the Creative Commons, the Pompadour numeral set is now available as both TrueType and OpenType fonts. I figured if John was going to go through the trouble of making Pompadour into a working font, the least I could do was add some punctuation. You’ll find a full stop, semi-colon, colon, comma, hyphen, en-dash and em-dash enclosed, all designed to work with those chunky-ass numbers. Enjoy!

Are you going to post photos of the cube calendar you did in class for these numbers? I really liked that.
@Colin – If I get the time I would like to expand it to a more functional set; though they were designed for such a specific purpose that they’re already proving difficult to even put basic punctuation with.
I did at some point photograph those cubes, but I am pretty sure I lost the photos. I could break them back out again I suppose…

If I do not get a project coming in the door in the next 30 seconds that would allow me to use this typeface, I’ll just damn wel-
time’s up. Okay, will do something just for me, I don’t really care what, as an excuse to play with these numbers. I loved them as an EPS file, I love them more as the more easy-to-use version.

Every time I try to download it, it opens in google docs instead, and if i save the link, it calls the file “viewer.html” and won’t let me either. I think your CMS isn’t Chrome-friendly.
