“Nubbins” Safety Diagrams

Working with The John’s Hopkins Cares Mobile Safety Center and MICA’s Center for Design Practice, these language free diagrams are designed to educate parents on health and injury risks in the home. The genderless, raceless, and ageless “Nubbins” is intended to communicate with any viewer, regardless of literacy or ethnicity. The three panel layout, inspired by comic strips, clearly defines the risk, potential injury, and preventative measures associated with each safety issue.
