MICA/UB Leadership Retreat Branding: Catalyst
This past Saturday I was lucky enough to get the opportunity to help facilitate a Leadership Retreat for the MICA and University of Baltimore community. I had been working with the planning committee for a few months prior, and the whole thing went off without a hitch and was a really great experience for me, and I hope all involved. I had, with the help and feedback from the planning committee, come up with the branding for the retreat, and it was cool to see the logo plastered all over folders, name-tags, signs, and screens at the event.
The typeface used is Din, and the pictures are courtesy of Stephanie Mckee.
Also, please note I am NOT responsible for that unfortunate font (thanks Colin and Jacob) below the logo on that screen… *shudders*.

Hi Andy…
The Arial looks more like Calibri… My boss wanted me to use it for the letterhead and newsletter at the school where I work. I don’t really like it, but it’s better than Arial.
Jacob.
That’s not Arial. It looks like it should be Myriad, Frutiger or something similar, if it weren’t for that 1. I looked for like 30 minutes and I couldn’t find a font that was similar and contained that 1. Very odd.
Good job, though! Congratulations… have any shots of the said folders and name-tags?
You are both right, certainly not Arial. I tend to jump to conclusions when presented with terrible capital R’s. There is no telling what they did there… it just wasn’t me!
