designer, maker, craftsman
getting better at this.

I spent most of yesterday in the Letterpress Studio making sweet, sweet love to Dolphin Press’s SP20. I printed some calling cards for the lovely Kailie Parrish as well as some post cards from Baltimore, both from polymer plates. I am finally starting to get the hang of this letterpress business, and I must say it is very exciting.

Andy those are awesome! I am now seriously considering taking letterpress next semester after seeing all this great stuff. Always wanted to! Is the postcard screenprinted and letterpressed?

@Jen – Thank you! The card is actually all letterpress, I halftone bitmapped an image and shot it to a polymer plate. Letterpress is usually not the best medium for photography, but it actually came out quite nice I think. It also feels very cool because if the impression.

You should definitely take the class, I am sure you would love it.
