I like the overall design. Great concept.

The first thing that came to my mind though is that the transition phase is towards retirement and not a land-based job.

Regrettfully in this digital age that less people now seem to be carrying business cards. It used to be a real delight to receive a thoughtfully designed business card. Some were like works of art!

Very nice design. I think "seeking sand" would have been better wording that "in transition". Hopefully he ends up in better shape than Tom Hanks in Castaway ;)

You should have had your friend's father in the chair on the beach in the last transition

I really like this card. It tells a story and has a little humor to go with it.

Thanks for the feedback, Tom. The overlapping on the phone number isn't my favorite thing either. I have not yet seen the printed version; I hope it is more evident in them that the contact information that falls over the land is darker than the information over just the water (slightly).

Very nice, both concept and execution.

I like the way @gmail.com us used to indicate the email address.

I don't like the way the home phone number is intersected by the curve... I can't think of an elegant solution though.
