I got lots of feedback on the “Fat Script: An Exploration in Cyrillic and Latin Script” post from yesterday concerning the legibility of my Cyrillic. (Special thanks to Robin, Colin, Alexey, Ken, and the internet) Hence, I have updated the script to hopefully be more legible. The old is on top and the new is on the bottom; let me know!

  1. Better!

Yeah, that’s definitely better. The three first letters are perfectly readable now. The tail on the «ш» could do with a little more curving though :-) But that could be just me.

  3. @Alexey – Do you think it should have a full like half loop exit stroke kind of thing?

@Andy — Yeah, maybe just peeking slightly from behind the vertical stroke to conserve the compactness of the glyph.

Penny for your thoughts?
