I got my saddle and rim in the mail today; joining the herds of hipsters riding Brooks I suppose. I care not what people think, I think its a piece of art and I love the idea of keeping it with me through my entire bike-riding life, it aging with me. I cannot wait to get out there and start wearing it in.
My new rim was in the same box, nothing exciting though just a $12, 32-hole, 27 inch aluminum deal. My goal tomorrow is to find some spokes that will fit both it and my hub and get my new wheel laced up!
