My good friend and creative consult Anthony Mattox has finally gotten around to putting together a fairly complete portfolio site and blog. The collection of work on his site presently is mostly his older work; he is just now getting completely ingrained in his field of study: Interactive Media. I suggest you all begin following his work immediately; his unique and wholehearted approach to his medium consistently yields breathtaking and inspiring work.

I have written a brief bio/about blurb for Tony’s site:

“Few artists, especially in the over saturated digital/New-Media niche, pursue their medium with as much passion and dedication as Anthony Mattox; his self-motivation and creativity are consistently staggering. Firmly rooted in the space between form and function, his work intrigues, engages, and frequently bewilders the viewer. In his youth at only 19, he has already shared gallery space with internationally renowned new-media professionals, and he is sure to make an indelible mark on the community before long. I admire his ever-evolving work, changing and transforming as he frequently discovers new applications, coding languages, and tools. Beyond his artistic merit, Tony is also one of the most intelligent people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing, a trait that shines gently through in his work. This young man is ripe with potential; his delicately considered, intellectually charged work threatens to reform New-Media art, raising the bar above the largely shallow, visually jarring work overpopulating the medium currently.”

Good luck with the blog buddy.
