I was born and raised in West Chester, Pennsylvania, on the outskirts of Philadelphia.

As a child, I poured countless, passionate hours into my LEGO creations, only to inevitably drop and shatter them on my garage floor.

Calvin and Hobbes keeps me sane and centered by making the world simple and understandable.

Joe Arscott, my high school art instructor, was and continues to be a profound influence on my life.

I am inspired by the writing of Kurt Vonnegut. I got in trouble in high school for saying "shit" during a recitation of one of Vonnegut's essays for a school-wide speaking contest.

I am currently studying design and involving myself with student life at the Maryland Institute College of Art.

I am proudly living, working, and exploring in Baltimore, Maryland.

I like to build and ride bicycles and will avoid buying a car for as long as possible.

I spent one month during the summer of 2010 living with and learning from Jim Croft, a gothic bookbinder and self-sufficient homesteader in Santa, ID. I learned lots about binding books, and more about life.
