Fine Artist Dai Foldes has finally got himself an online presence. He is a good friend and roommate of mine who manages to survive in an apartment full of designers and nerds. Few people I know dedicate as much time and thought to their work as Dai; most every piece is imbued with authentic meaning. His “Whale vs. Squid” series is my personal favorite. (more…)

I got to spend my morning today looking at some beautiful Artist Books from the cage at the Decker Library and watching Barack Obama get sworn in as the 44th President of the United States with 200 or so friends in Falvey Hall. My hopes are high; seeing people so excited and so emotionally affected by the Inauguration makes me optimistic for what the next 4 years may hold. (more…)

Made it back to Baltimore and MICA last night just before they closed the roads for Obama. As I am now back at school and no longer wasting my time/life posting will resume and be of and about things that actually matter (hopefully). (more…)

I got my saddle and rim in the mail today; joining the herds of hipsters riding Brooks I suppose. I care not what people think, I think its a piece of art and I love the idea of keeping it with me through my entire bike-riding life, it aging with me. I cannot wait to get out there and start wearing it in. (more…)
